A huge mass of tiny volcanic rocks, around the size of Belgium, has been discovered floating off the coast of New Zealand.

Scientists say the rocks are likely to come from an underwater volcano and, from the air, they appear like a giant sheet of ice.

It stretches for about 26-thousand square kilometres.
