Batman actor Cillian Murphy’s bagged a part in a new BBC drama.

BBC Two’s Peaky Blinders will be a six-part gangster series, set in Birminham in 1919.

The Irish Sun says Cillian will play the part of Tommy Delaney, of the Delaney crime family.

Peaky Blinders will begin shooting in September and will air on BBC Two in 2013.
