A motorcyclist in his 20s has been killed in a crash in Mullingar.
His bike hit a barrier at Heathstown on the old N4 road outside Mullingar Town shortly after 11am today.
Investigators are currently carrying out a forensic exam at the scene and the local Coroner has been notified.

The road is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses - anyone with information is asked to contact Mullingar Garda Station or call the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
