A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Wexford. 

Gardaí said the incident happened last night around 11.35pm on the R733 at the Redshire Road junction. 

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where his condition is described as critical. 

The scene of the crash on the R733 is currently closed for forensic examination. Local diversions are in place. 

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.  

Any road users who may have camera footage - including dash-cam - and were travelling on the R733 are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
