Frost and fog patches will clear this morning, giving way to a dry day in most areas, with bright or sunny spells.

However, some scattered showers will occur along north and northwest coasts and there is a slight chance of a few isolated light showers along south and southeast coasts.

Maximum temperatures 8 to 11 Celsius.

Winds becoming mostly moderate northeasterly, strengthening along southern and western coasts.

Tonight

Tonight will be dry in most areas, with clear spells, but it will be mostly cloudy in the south and southwest, with patchy rain and drizzle in southwest coastal areas.

Minimum temperatures minus 1 to plus 3 Celsius inland, coldest in Ulster, but temperatures range 4 to 7 Celsius along east and south coasts.

Winds mostly moderate easterly, fresh to strong on south and southwest coasts.
