Irish men and women who died in past wars or on service with the UN will be remembered today at a series of events across Ireland.

The President and Taoiseach will attend a National Day of Commemoration ceremony this morning at Dublin's Collins Barracks.

A wreath will be laid on behalf of the people of Ireland.

Further comments made by Britain's former ambassador to the US have been leaked in the UK's Mail on Sunday - despite warnings of police prosecution.

Scotland Yard says journalists could be in breach of the country's Officials Secrets Act over the publication of Kim Darroch's communications.

A man has been charged in the UK with murdering a heavily pregnant woman, whose baby later died in hospital.

26-year-old Kelly Fauvrelle was killed at her home in London last month.

Aaron McKenzie, with an address in London, is also accused of the manslaughter of her son.
