A tsunami set off by a volcano has killed at least 168 people in Indonesia.

The wave swept away beachfront properties in the western Sunda Straight.

Many of the victims had been attending a concert during a busy holiday weekend.

A major security operation is underway after a man was shot dead in Dublin on Saturday night.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was shot outside a house at Blakestown Cottages in Blanchardstown.

A second crime scene has been preserved in Clonee in Co Meath, where a car was later found burnt out.

British police are searching a home in the town of Crawley, after two people were arrested over drone disruption at London's Gatwick Airport.

Two people - a 47-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman - were arrested late on Friday and are being questioned over "criminal use of drones" at the airport.

The disruption began at around 9.00pm on Wednesday and flight schedules are still returning to normal.

It is also calling on those who feel lonely at this time of year to get in touch with the charity for help.
