A post-mortem will be carried out later on a body found in the back garden of a Limerick house.
The remains were discovered at the Pines in Briarfield, Castletroy yesterday morning by Gardaí searching for a missing Polish man.
The body has yet to be identified.

Talks will take place later aimed at averting a major nurses strike at the country's main hospitals.
The INMO union says their members will hold rolling two-hour work stoppages in protest at overcrowding.
If the action goes ahead, seven hospitals will be affected, including Beaumont in Dublin, next Thursday the 14th of January.

The Government is being called upon to purchase the entire Moore Street terrace in Dublin to save the site from destruction.
Yesterday a group of protesters said they would occupy a building on the city centre street for as long as it takes.
They have stopped restoration work on the site which was central to the 1916 Rising, calling for the whole building to be preserved.

Mexican special forces have recaptured the world's most-wanted drug lord, six months after he broke out of a maximum-security prison.
Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman was tracked down to a hotel in the north-western city of Los Mochis.
In July, Guzman escaped his jail cell via a mile-long tunnel that had been dug for him.
