The EU is expected to approve a Brexit delay later today until the end of January.

It is understood there'll also be the option to leave as early as December 1st, if MPs vote for Prime Minister Boris Johnson's deal next month.

Meanwhile, the SNP and Lib Dems say they'll support a general election - at a slightly earlier date in December than the one proposed by Mr Johnson - if the risk of a no-deal Brexit is removed.

A 25-year-old truck driver from Armagh is due in court in the UK later over the discovery of 39 bodies in a lorry container in Essex.

Maurice Robinson of Laurel Drive, Craigavon, is charged with multiple manslaughters and conspiracy to traffic people.

Three other people arrested over the deaths have been released on bail.

The first report into the Grenfell fire in London will be made available later to the relatives of the 72 people who died.

It will examine the timeline of events on the night of the tragedy in June 2017 and make some recommendations.

So far, the inquiry has heard more than 100 days of evidence into the blaze at the west London tower block.
