The number of children and young adults contracting COVID-19 is raising concern among the National Public Health Emergency Team.

According to freedom of information figures, just over 110,000 penalties were settled in 2018 – coming to €9.6 million.
Last year almost 120,000 speeding fines were paid, with the gardaí collecting over €10.5 million.
