It's expected the Government will appoint junior ministers following a Cabinet meeting today.

There are 17 roles to fill, with an extra focus on the appointments following criticism of the geographical spread of the cabinet ministers.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said the three parties have been working to pick them based on ability, gender and geography.

There are calls for the Government to make a clear decision on whether we can travel overseas or not this summer.

The Chief Medical Officer has asked people not to travel for any non-essential reason, but the Government recently said foreign travel may be possible to certain countries which had the virus under control.

Latest figures released yesterday evening showed one more COVID-19 patient has died here, while 11 more cases have been confirmed.

The airline says it will be operating a thousand services daily across Europe.

The funeral of Belfast teenager Noah Donohoe, whose body was found on Saturday, will take place later this morning.

Noah had been missing for nearly a week.

His family say Noah's final journey past his school will allow people to pay their respects at a social distance.

A 34 year-old man has been seriously injured after his car hitch a ditch near Ballymahon in Co Longford last night.

The man's car left the road at around 6:30pm.

He was taken to Tullamore Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
