An eight-year-old boy has died following a farm accident in Co Galway.
The accident happened on a farm in Kilcolgan yesterday morning.
The boy was rushed to University Hospital Galway, but died yesterday afternoon.
The Health and Safety Authority has sent an inspector to investigate the cause of the incident.

An Air France flight has been forced to land in Kenya, after a suspected bomb was found on board.
Police say the suspected bomb was found in a toilet of the Boeing 777.
The flight was travelling from Mauritius to Paris.
The plane - carrying 459 passengers and 14 crew - was safely evacuated.

A youth is still being questioned by gardai in Co Mayo after a fatal assault.
A 17-year-old died following an assault at Claremont Manor, Knock Road in Claremorris.
A young male was arrested at the scene and is being held at Claremorris Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Rescue efforts continued through the night in a remote settlement in Norway following an avalanche.
Houses were pushed from their foundations, cars flipped and several people were buried under metres of snow.
One man has been killed and a further nine are being treated in hospital.

This morning's Red C poll in the Sunday Business Post shows Fine Gael at its highest rating yet - 32%.
Labour are up two points to nine, and Fianna Fáil are down two points to 17% support.
