The Health Minister says around 61% of people who have had COVID-19 in the Republic have now recovered.

New figures show another 52 people have died from the virus, bringing the death toll to 1,063.

There are now 118 people in intensive care with the coronavirus, down from 140.

Simon Harris is welcoming a drop in ICU admissions, but says people can't afford to be complacent.

It has been revealed that caravan parks in Co Wexford have been under drone surveillance for weeks, as local officials search for tourists who shouldn't be there.

Boris Johnson is preparing to return to work tomorrow after recovering from coronavirus.

The British prime minister has already held meetings with advisers and foreign secretary Dominic Raab, who has been deputising for him.

Mr Johnson spent several nights in an intensive care unit in London earlier this month after his COVID-19 symptoms worsened.

Donald Trump cancelled his COVID-19 press briefing last night, claiming the briefings are 'not worth the time'.

The US president has tweeted his concerns about 'hostile questions' being asked by journalists.

It comes only days after he received widespread international criticism after appearing to suggest injecting bleach could be a treatment - a comment he later claimed was 'sarcastic'.
