More than 100 people have died in South Sudan after a crowd tried to siphon fuel from an oil tanker, which then exploded.
The vehicle was targeted after it veered off the road.
About 50 people were also seriously injured in the blast.
The minister of information in Western Equatoria, Charles Kisagna, told Reuters, "we don’t have medical equipment and these people may not survive because we do not have the facilities to treat the highly burnt people”.
The tanker had been travelling from the country's capital Juba to the Western Equatoria region.
South Sudan gained independence in 2011, but has seen significant conflict ever since, with a civil war ongoing since December 2013. The latest explosion is not believed to be related to the conflict.
