Extensive searches are continuing in Dublin today as part of a major crackdown on suspected members of the New IRA Alliance.
It follows the arrest one man, 46, yesterday following the discovery of a pipebomb in Cloughran.
A number of additional searches were carried out in the area yesterday and 10 kilogrammes of what's believed to be high-grade explosives were later found.
Garda sources say the operation is still on-going and extended searches are continuing today.
The man is still being held in Ballymun garda station, where he is being questioned about dissident republican activity, under Section 30 Offences against the State Act 1939.
Gardai believe the latest seizure - and Wednesday's finds will have dealt a severe blow to renegade republicans.
The explosives were discovered yesterday afternoon, in renewed searches of property in the immediate area surrounding the bomb-depot at Cloghran.
Garda sources say the operation is still on-going and extended searches are continuing today.
