Other parts of the country will stay mainly dry with hazy sunshine, though some showers coastal showers will affect parts of the west and northwest, where there is the slight risk of thunder.

Wet and windy across east and southeast counties tonight, with some falls of sleet and snow, mainly affecting Wicklow.

The rest of the country should remain largely dry in a moderate occasionally fresh northerly flow, preventing any significant frost.
