Today

Rather blustery today with sunny spells and scattered heavy showers, especially in the west and northwest, where they will merge into longer spells of rain.

Risk of hail and thunder too.

Driest conditions will occur across the southeast, with mostly dry weather in the east until early afternoon.

Highest temperatures will range 8 to 11 degrees Celsius, in a moderate to fresh and gusty westerly wind, strongest all the while along Atlantic coasts.

Tonight

Showers will become confined to the northwest early tonight with dry, calm and clear conditions developing.

Some frost and possibly a few icy patches setting in too though. Cold, with lowest temperatures ranging 0 to 4 degrees Celsius.
