A sign telling the PSNI, British Army and MI5 they are “not welcome in this area” has been erected in the Ardoyne area of Belfast.
The sign includes a twice misspelled ‘Britsh’.
The sign is close to a mural of the crest of the local Ardoyne Kickhams GAC, which was last month restored after being painted over with an anti-PSNI poster, by the Republican Network for Unity, the Irish News reports.
The poster read: "Open your eyes to British political policing. Disband the RUC/PSNI now".
Sinn Féin councillor JJ Magee said the defacing of the mural was “an attack on Irish culture and games”.
