Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 31-year-old man.

Stephen Sherlock was reported missing from the Pearse Street area of Dublin yesterday.

He is described as being 5'10" in height, of medium build and with short brown hair.

It is not known what Stephen was wearing when he went missing.

Gardaí say they are seriously concerned for his welfare.
