A post mortem is to be carried out on the body of a man taken from the River Shannon in Co. Clare.
The remains of the man were discovered at lunchtime floating near the ESB power station at Ardnacrusha.
It is understood the body floated to the surface when underwater turbines at the power station were being cleaned by a specialised machine.
