Gardaí have arrested two people on suspicion of money laundering.

The man and woman, both aged in their 30s, were arrested on Monday by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB).

They are being held on suspicion of money laundering offences, contrary to Section 7 of the Criminal Justice Act.

They are currently in custody at Clondalkin Garda station.

They are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
