A man has been arrested following the seizure of cocaine valued at an estimated €20,000 in Co Kildare.

A house in Castle Park, Athy, was searched at around 9.30pm last night, as part of an on-going garda operation.

A man in his early thirties was detained in connection with the discovery.

He is being questioned under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act.
