A tattooist in Austria has been jailed for drawing a penis and a swear word on a woman who asked for a Yin-Yang symbol.
The 21-year-old woman was reportedly left in tears when she found out that the man, who is a hobby tattooist, drew a penis and the word ‘F**k’ on her back instead of the ancient Chinese symbol.
A court in the city of St. Pölten heard that the man drew a template of the Yin-yang symbol for the woman before then deviating entirely from that design and drawing a penis instead.
The woman only realised what had happened when she went home and looked at her new tattoo in the mirror.
The man, who is also 21-years-old, was asked by the judge why he had drawn the penis, to which he replied: “Just because.”
He was sentenced to a total of three-and-a-half years in jail and will be held in an institution for mentally ill offenders. He had only been released from prison in May of last year.
