A man who was detained over the Regency Hotel shooting earlier this month has been released.
The man, who in his 50s, was arrested on May 18th in connection with the murder of David Byrne during a boxing event at the Dublin hotel three months earlier.
A file is to be prepared for the DPP after the suspect was released without charge this morning.

Patrick Hutch (24) became the first person to be charged with the killing last week.
The young man is a brother of Gary Hutch, who was murdered in Spain last September.
