A man in his thirties remains in Garda custody this evening, in connection with a fatal gun attack in the capital yesterday.

35 year old John Wilson was shot dead at his home on Cloverhill Road in Ballyfermot at about 3pm.

The father of two is the third gangland figure to be killed in the past week.
