Gardaí have said a man found dead at Carrickmacross in Co Monaghan on Tuesday had suffered a head injury.
The discovery was made "in unexplained circumstances" on land surrounding The M Hotel on the Kingscourt Road at Lossets.
It followed a call from a member of the public.

A post-mortem has been completed on the body of the man by State Pathologist Dr Heidi Okkers.
However the results of the examination are not being released for operational reasons.
The circumstances of the head injury are unexplained.
