A 33-year-old man charged with the murder of Romanian teenager Marioara Rostas is expected to be sent forward for trial next week.

Alan Wilson of New Street Gardens in Dublin 8 is accused of killing the 18-year-old at a house on Brabazon Street in the south inner-city on January 8th 2008.

Marioara Rostas went missing 4 and a half years ago on January 6th 2008.

She was begging with her brother at Lombard Street East in Dublin when she got into a car and was never seen again.

It was only in January of this year that her remains were found in a shallow grave in Co Wicklow following a 13-day search operation by Gardaí.

A post mortem found she had been shot.

Mr. Wilson was charged with her murder in April and replied after caution ‘I didn’t do this’.

He appeared again today at Cloverhill District Court and was remanded until Friday week for service of the book of evidence.

Once served he can be sent forward for trial.
