A man is due in court this morning after a 10-month-old baby girl was allegedly left alone in a parked car in Dublin.

A man raised the alarm in Clondalkin Garda Station at around 2am on Saturday.

A massive garda operation was launched and the baby girl was found safe and well following a two-hour search.

It's believed she may have been in the car on her own for up to 10 hours

A Garda spokesperson said investigators have charged a man under the Children’s Act (2001).
