A man in his 50s has died in a road crash in Co Limerick.
The incident happened at Ballincolly, Kilmallock, at roughly 1.30am on Monday morning.
The driver was fatally injured when his car collided with a ditch. He was the only occupant of the car.
His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital.
A forensic test is being carried out at the scene.
Gardaí have closed the road to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.
