A man has died following a crash in south Dublin earlier today.
It happened just before 1pm this afternoon on the N4, Lucan, on the city bound approach to junction 4a.
Gardaí say a car veered from the road and crashed into a stone wall.
The car's driver - a 32-year-old man - was seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
He was the only person in the car at the time.
The man's body was taken to the mortuary at Connolly Hospital, where a post-mortem exam will be carried out.
A forensic exam has been carried out at the scene, and the road has reopened.
