A 21-year-old man has been killed after a crash near Ballycanew in Co Wexford in the early hours of this morning.
The collision, between a car and a truck, occurred just before 5.30am on the Ballycanew to Wexford road.
The young male driver of the car was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains have been removed to the mortuary at Wexford General Hospital.
The 29-year-old truck driver was uninjured in the collision, and there were no passengers in either vehicle.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a garda examination and diversions in place.
