A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in County Dublin.

It happened around 2.10pm today on Phibblestown Road in Blanchardstown.

The man who lost his life was aged in his 20s and was driving a scrambler bike.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed to allow for a technical exam but has since reopened.

Gardaí are asking for any witnesses of the crash to come forward, particularly those with dash cam footage who were travelling through the area between 1.45pm and 2.15pm today.
