A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Michael Tormey in Dublin earlier this month.
The 49-year-old father of three was shot dead in the front garden of his home in Ballyfermot in the early hours of Sunday January 9th.
He had no known links to any criminality and Gardai have been investigating whether he was involved in breaking up an argument earlier in the night.
This evening, a 40-year-old man was charged in relation to the killing. He is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning.
A 39-year-old woman who was being questioned by GardaĆ has been released without charge and file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
