A man has been charged over an alleged two-month crime spree in County Limerick.
Gardaí said the man, aged in his 30s, has been charged in relation to ten incidents of burglary, attempted burglary, criminal damage and theft.
It comes after investigators responded to a report of a possible break-in at a bar on John Street shortly after 2am this morning.
After carrying out a search of the area, a man was found to be in possession of alcohol gardaí believe to have been stolen from the bar.
He was arrested and taken to Henry Street Garda Station where he was questioned in relation to a range of offences that have taken place in Limerick over the last two months.
He has now been charged in connection with ten offences including four burglaries, two attempted burglaries, one theft from a car and three incidents of criminal damage.
He is due to appear before Limerick district Court this morning.
