A man has been charged after two separate robberies in Dublin earlier this week.

On Monday evening at around 6:10pm, a man walked in to a business on Terenure Road North.

He threatened staff at knife-point, and is said to have demanded cash and medicine.

He then left the scene on a blue mountain bike.

On Thursday, meanwhile, a man threatened staff at a business on Harold's Cross Road with a knife, demanding cash and medicine.

The man in the second incident was wearing a black hoodie top and grey tracksuit bottoms, and was carrying a grey/black bag.

Yesterday, gardaí arrested a 43-year-old man in Dublin.

He was held and charged at Rathmines Garda Station, before a court appearance this morning.
