In the North, detectives have charged a man (29) with grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court later this morning,

The charges relate to an incident on the outskirts of Belfast, at a flat in Dunmurry in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A man in his twenties who lived in the flat, suffered facial injuries after he was assaulted by another man who struck him with a bottle.
