Gardaí are investigating a serious assault and robbery in Co Limerick.
A 51-year-old man was attacked and robbed by a group of up to three other men on Saturday night.
It happened at Carrig Drive, Dooradoyle at around 9.00pm.
The victim had just exited his 06-Donegal registered blue Suzuki Swift on Carrig Drive when he was attacked.
He was struck on the head and had his car keys, mobile telephone and a sum of money taken.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and are asking that anyone with information - or anyone who may have seen some suspicious or unusual activity in the Carrig Drive area at the time - to contact them.
