A man has been arrested after a post office robbery in Dublin city centre.

Gardaí are investigating the robbery that happened at a post office on St Andrew's Street on Thursday afternoon.

A man aged in his 50s was arrested at the scene.

He has been taken to Pearse Street Garda station for questioning.

Officers say investigations into the incident are ongoing.
