A murder investigation is expected to be launched today, after the deaths of 2 brothers in Co. Mayo.
It's understood the men, aged 68 and 70, suffered violent deaths at their home in Castlebar town.
A man (26) arrested in relation to their deaths yesterday is still being questioned by gardaí this morning.
Former Mayor and town councillor of Castlebar, Michael Kilcoyne, says it's unprecedented that this could happen just yards from the Taoiseach's constituency office:
