Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with the murder of French woman Anne Colomines in Dublin in late October.
The 37-year-old died at the Dorset Square Apartments on Gardiner Street Upper following a suspected domestic incident.
Responding to a call at around 11:30pm on October 24th, gardaí discovered the woman and her Brazilian husband with serious injuries at the apartment.
The pair were treated at the scene by paramedics from Dublin fire Brigade - however the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was brought to the Mater Hospital where he has been receiving treatment for the past number of weeks.
This afternoon, gardaí arrested a 35-year-old man in Dublin city centre.
He is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station.
Gardaí have said their investigation is ongoing.
