A murder investigation is underway after a woman was murdered in Dublin on Tuesday night.
The 37-year-old was killed at an apartment after a suspected domestic incident.
At around 11.30pm on Tuesday gardaí in Mountjoy got a call about an incident at the Dorset Square Apartments on Gardiner Street Upper.
Arriving at the scene they found a 37-year-old French woman and a 35-year-old Brazilian man with serious injuries.

They were treated at the scene - and the man was brought to the Mater Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
The woman died at the scene and the Garda Technical Bureau have been on site for most of the day.
Some neighbours speaking to the media said they heard noises, but did not know what happened.

It is understood the couple were husband and wife, and had been living together at the apartment after coming to Ireland from France and Brazil.
Gardaí are hoping to interview the injured man later.
Earlier, the DSPCA removed a pet cat from the scene, which remains sealed off as the garda investigation continues.
