Gardaí investigating the death of a homeless man in Cork have arrested a man in his 20s.

37-year-old Vincent Morgain died after an attack on Lower Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork City on 10th September.

Gardaí arrested a 22-year-old man from County Cork this afternoon.

He is being detained at Bridewell Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
