Gardaí in West Dublin have arrested a man in his 40s after a major drugs bust in Clondalkin.

Ecstasy tablets and prescription drugs worth an estimated €229,000 were found during a raid on a a premises in the Balgaddy area last night.

One man in his early 40s was taken into custody at the scene.

He is being held this afternoon at Ronanstown Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
