A 46-year-old man has been charged with six counts of attempted child abduction in Derry.

The man was arrested on Friday.

He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) of Northern Ireland would be reviewing the charges as is normal procedure.
