The M50 southbound in Dublin has been closed following a three-vehicle crash this afternoon. 

Gardaí said it happened at approximately 1.40pm on the M50 southbound between Junctions 7 and 9. 

The southbound side of the motorway between the Lucan and Red Cow exits is closed as emergency services attend the incident.
