A lucky ticket holder who won €500,000 in a September EuroMillions draw is being urged to claim their prize before a Christmas Day deadline.
According to the National Lottery, the ticket - a €7 'Quick Pick' - was purchased at the Kilmoon Service Station in Ashbourne, Co Meath on Monday 25th September for the following day's draw.
The winning numbers were 17, 31, 37, 40 and 46.
The ticket holder has 90 days to claim their prize, with the deadline fast approaching.
National Lottery Chief Executive Dermot Griffin said: “There is somebody out there with a EuroMillions ticket worth €500,000 so we are appealing to our players to check their tickets carefully.
"The deadline for this prize is December 25th, so we would love to see them in our Winners’ Room before Christmas so they can celebrate the holiday season in style.”
The National Lottery also says it has yet to hear from the winner of a €1 million EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ prize from Friday 27th October.
That ticket was sold at Londis Attyfinlay Autocentre, Carrick on Shannon in Co Leitrim on the day of the draw.
Both winners are being urged to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.
