class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">The unemployment rate remains unchanged as a result at 14.8%.

class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">The CSO say the figures continue to show movement on a small range.

class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">The unadjusted Live Register total fell by just under 27,000 month-on-month to 429,335.

class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">Meanwhile long-term claimants account for 45% of the total compared to just under 42% in September 2011.

class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">This means they were out of work for more than 12 months.

class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">The number of people aged-25 claiming job seekers benefit account for over 17% of the total but that is down from 18.5% in September last year.

class="MsoNormal"> style="color: #333333;">However recent figures show many in this age group are opting to emigrate.
