A couple from Co Leitrim have picked up a cheque for more than €7m from National Lottery headquarters in Dublin.
The pair, who want to remain anonymous, say they are regular lotto players and always use the same numbers.
They won the prize in the draw on Saturday October 25th.
"We recognised the numbers as soon as we heard them," said the husband. "But were we sure we'd won? Nope! We weren't certain we had a ticket for that draw."
"There was a bit of a scramble, but all's well that ends well - and here we are today," he added.
The €8 multi draw ticket was bought in Tesco on the Old Dublin Road in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.
This is the eighth Lotto jackpot win for the county - but the first time that Tesco in Carrick-on-Shannon has sold a jackpot ticket.
