The LE Niamh has taken aboard 513 people today in four operations in the Mediterranean.
The Irish Naval vessel arrived at the first scene, just off the north east coast of Tripoli at around 10am.
Two rhibs were deployed and 107 men, 14 women and three children were rescued and brought on board.
An hour later 127 people were rescued nearby, and then a further 129 people from a deflating rubber craft in an operation alongside Italian Naval vessel the ITS ALESIO.
Later, the ship took aboard an additional 133 rescued people from the Italian vessel CP906 ORAZIO CORZI.
All 513 are currently on board the LE Niamh where they have been given water, food and medical assistance.
The LE Niamh is now en route to Augusta, Sicily.
