A KFC diner was disgusted when he found a dead black fly buried in his chicken earlier this week.
Hardip Singh, of East Ham, London, was eating in the fast food restaurant when he noticed the black insects wings and legs poking out of his food.
He immediately approached the counter to complain to the manager where was offered a replacement meal, but told that it 'was not a normal fly'.
'I told them I didn't want to eat the chicken. I just wanted my money back. This has put me off KFC for ever,' he told the Mirror.

A spokesperson for KFC told the Mirror, 'We are very sorry to hear about Mr Singh's experience and would like to reassure customers that our East Ham restaurant has a food hygiene rating of five out of five stars, meaning that the business was found to have very good hygiene standards.'
'As soon we were made aware of the situation we apologised on the spot and offered a refund and a replacement meal.'
Mr Singh accept the refund and a replacement side but has vowed never to return to the KFC restaurant again.
